Words that no-one says/sings better than Dio

Yep, Fire for sure and just about every thing else.

I think one of the reasons is the way he pronounces each letter of the word he sings...as in the song, "Walk Away" when he sings, "Can't see her fire, but I can feel her heat...alright". He carries each word from beginning to end clearly for the most part in everything he sings. He never just screams shit out that you can't understand. That's one of the reasons he is my favorite vocalist

I think Dio, like Halford is excellent at selecting and emphasising words and phrasing - also let's not underestimate from a lyrical standpoint Geezer Butler whose lyrics when sung by Dio in the case of the awsome War Pigs or Black Sabbath take on greater emotion and depth than for me the originals. Same for some of the covers he's sung on too such as Dream On, Welcome To My Nightmare and the verse of Smoke On The Water on the DP DVD.
