My 19yr son was brought up on Black Sabbath & the one & only Dio  Now his a Drummer with his own band they dont have a singer but after seein Dio live he wants someone like Dio. Tall order I think. |

The Last In Line, live version, always gives me shivers when the line "We are coming..." comes and Dio sings so powerfully, beautifully that "HOME!"

ever since i heard dio say 'evil' as 'e-ville' back in the '80s, i've been saying it the same way... most people say it like, 'evul'...
i like how he says, 'this one' when he introduces a song... |

Nail on the head moment there.
Just about every word in the chorus of Computer God, it makes the song. In fact, just about all of RJD's songs are great because of the way he sings those power words.
Perhaps not the best, but one word he's sang in every possible way and so frequently you'd think he invented it is 'wheel'. 'Tis a good metaphor, but thirty years of using it once on every album makes for a lot of weels.

i watched "Tenacious D and the pick of destiny" today and i just love the bit at the beginning when he sings to a young jack black.
