Back in 2002 I started writing a Rock - Opera called Aleon's Curse of the Pharaoh. The opening song had two parts of sung dialogue, the Pharoah and his son the Prince. I had always dreamed that Dio would one day sing the part of the Pharaoh. I did both parts in the original recording. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

Thanks, I really need to revisit the project and finish it off. I have nine tracks recorded one of which ia a dialogue between the God Anubis and the prince in the underworld. I did some research and found the prayer that the dead were supposed to say when they reached judgement before Anubis. So they could go on to peace with Osiris. If they were not worthy their heart would be devoured be Jackyls. In Egyptian history/mythology if you did something terrible you were stripped of your name and taken out of history all together as if you never existed. that is the basis for the whole rock opera.

| That's quite interesting, I really like the concept as I've always found the subject quite fascinating. You should definitely finish this off or more importantely re-record it with the NEVERMET project |

| I think it's brilliant. Besides the fact I'm a huge nerd when it comes to Egyptology musicially it's great and I can imagine Dio singing it. |

I love the whole Egypt thing, maybe its just because the movies have glamourized it so much, but I also have great respect for a culture that dominated the world probably longer than any other before or after. Some day have got to get this out.
