I'd love to see Dio do some covers, maybe a covers album as stopgap between his next main release (Magica 2?) but what songs would you like to hear him do?

I'd love to hear do:
-Smoke On The Water - DP
-Heaven Can Wait - Meat Loaf
-No More Mr Nice Guy - Alice Cooper
-The Show Must Go On - Queen
-The Eyes Of The World - Rainbow

[On a side note has Dio done any cover songs already? I know he's done Black Sheep + Still I'm Sad + Mistreated with Ranbow Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare on a tribute album which I've orderd but has he done any more?]

Other than his early pre-Elf recordings I don't think so.
I'd also love Ronnie singing a Queen song. Not just because they're one of my favourite bands but Freddie and Ronnie sound pretty alike IMO. I'm going to go away and think about some covers Dio could do. I'll post a list later Cool

"Mother" - Danzig

"Helter Skelter" - The Beatles

"Season of the Witch" - Vanilla Fudge

"The End" - The Doors

my father and sister and i were discussing that the other day and we all agreed that we think Dio would deffenatly sing the song great...just imagne him starting the slow verse in the beginging of the song with his soft voice just like in the beginging of "Rainbow eyes" and "catch the Rainbow"...

That would be very cool indeed. If he's going to do Zeppelin, I think he should do "No Quarter" as well. That is my all time favorite Zeppelin song....

This came to me while I was falling asleep one night this week.

"Love, Reign O'er Me" by The Who. I think Ronnie could really belt that one out.

Iron Maiden's Number Of The Beast
Metallica's One ((the climax in signature Dio style... Holy Crap))

Just to add some more material to the list, I don't like playing on suggestions already said.
