one of my favourite bands, later staff is too comercial, but albums like 2112, Moving pictures(these 2 are their best imo) are true classics...
My favourite progressive band next to King Crimson, i think there two are much better then any other progressive bands

RUSH will bring their revered three-and-a-half-hour "Time Machine" tour to the U.K. — with shows in Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and London — this coming May 2011.
The "Time Machine" tour is an evening with RUSH, where they will perform their classics, give a taste of the future and will — for the first time ever in the U.K. — feature the "Moving Pictures" album live in its entirety.
The North American leg of the tour kicked off in June of 2010 and led to RUSH ranking #1 on Billboard's "Hot Tours" chart, followed by a return to Brazil and first-time shows in Argentina & Chile on their South American tour this past fall, all the while rabid demand warranted extending the tour to Europe.
"'Moving Pictures' is our most popular album and it's the one that seems to have passed the test of time most gracefully," observes singer/bassist Geddy Lee. "We're playing better than ever, and I'm not sure we're quite ready to put that tour away," he adds.
RUSH's 2011 U.K. dates are as follows:
May 14 - Glasgow - SECC
May 16 - Sheffield - Motorpoint Arena
May 19 - Manchester - MEN Arena
May 21 - Newcastle - Metro Radio Arena
May 22 - Birmingham - LG Arena
May 25 - London - O2
Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 26 at 9:00 a.m. GMT. |

Good to hear, but that will probably postpone the album. I missed them when they came to ATL, but oh well.

Saw them in Nashville back in April, best time of my life!! Seeing my heroes up there was too surreal!
Anyway, picked up the R30 deluxe edition yesterday, so if anyone wants just the 2 DVD version, send me a pm and we'll see if we can make a deal.
