Just got done listening to Geezer and Ronnie speak on behalf of the Heaven and Hell tour on the radio show "Rockline". Some very good conversation from Ronnie and Geez about the past....about the current tour, and about possible future plans.

I was fortunate enough to be able to call in and ask a question. I was so sicked I almost choked when it was my turn to ask. I asked about if they had planned to reunite before 2007 or if prior obligations had prevented that from happening. I was pretty nervous about talking to one of my idols, but I think Ronnie understood that and was real cool about answering questions for the fans. Kinda wonder why Vinny and Tony weren't there though?

Can't wait to see them in Cincinnati on May 8th!!!

Yours was one of the better questions, in fact maybe the best. But frankly, Ronnie wasn't very accomadating during this interview; most of his replies were rather vague, and even flippant at times.

The questions were generally good, except for one Ozzy-nerd (probably born around 1990) who asked about the possibility of Ronn and Ozz ever sharing the same stage as a duet!!! (Can't fathom how that guy got past the call-screener! You could almost see Geezer cringing in the background.) For this particular question, though, Ronnie was suddenly forthright in his reply, "Ozzy doesn't sing with Ronnie, and Ronnie doesn't sing with Ozzy!"

Several other callers asked about the source inspirations for specific songs, but Ronnie remained evasive, for whatever reason.

As for your question about other reunion attempts - I can't cite the source offhand, but DIO management did try to recruit Mr. Iommi for that 'Metal Aid' event Ronnie orchestrated during the mid-eighties. The story goes that Iommi instead opted for the $$$$ and exposure afforded by 'Live Aid'. But this reconciliation of sorts was considered as far back as late '85.

Good question. I almost wish I listen to radio so I could hear it.

It's kinda funny the question I origonally wanted to ask was for Tony but since he wasn't there I had to think of something spur-of-the-moment and that's what popped into my head.
