Drum and bass and hip-hop have a nipple grip on what is going on here, and most of the people my age wouldn't know a good riff if it approached them from behind screamed in their ear.
I address this to the Scottish RJD fans (aka Holymagica).
What kind of people from Scotia come to an H&H concert? No one I know - apart from the friend I am going with - has even heard of H&H let alone RJD. Will there be any young 'uns? _________________

I'm in the 'Burgh. I know that Glasgow has some metal heads.
I think Jimmy Bain has been a bit of a poor ambassador to RJD _________________

I'll see what I can do.
I'm setting off for about 6-7, considering traffic over in Newcastle is like the Iron Maiden gig it'd take about an hour or 2 to get out of the bloody car park. |

ADVICE PLEASE!!
The guy I was gonna go with has just got a job - can't get the day off. The stated show time start on Manchester tickets is 7pm. By the time we get there it will be at least 8. We have standing tickets - anyone know of any problems getting in to standing area after show start? And also can anyone tell me what sort of time H&H take to the stage? I don't care about the support, but I don't want to miss H&H! I'm so cheesed off about this - I'm tempted to tell my mate to forget it and I'll go with someone who can get organised! _________________ Along Came A Spider..... |

H+H got on stage at about 9PM this evening.
The support started at 7.
Lamb Of God, if shit was music they are it. Damn I wish I had a sniper Rifle. There were frigging mosh pits and fights in the standing area when they were on. Iced Earth were fantastic, shook hands with Tim Owens.
H+H, made the night great, couple of bastards in front stood up blocking my view at the start but the stupid sods sat down eventually and I could stare in awe at a dream come true. Sang the words to every single song.
Dio's voice is even better than on the DVD. Loved the extended songs and jams. but Vinny Appice's drum solo was deafening. My ears are still ringing from it. |

| Iced earth first. Mob Rules from H+H first, only 1/3 new songs. |

Damn. That sucks about Iced Earth getting the first slot. What the hell is up with that? They clearly deserve to have billing over Lamb of God.
And Sabbath only played 1 new song? That's weird, Iommi said they'll be putting all the new songs back in for the UK tour... _________________ Do you like the dark? Do you like the way it moves? Do you come alive when neon kills the sun? |

They're not putting seats on the floor are they? I mean, is it standing or not? _________________ Along Came A Spider..... |

of course there's standing, it's both seated and standing.
if you're standing watch out for piss bottles and moshpits, there was hell on when lamb of god came on. |

Dammit. I wish Lamb of God were on first! Or just 'not at all!'
What was Heaven and Hell's setlist like? Was it the same short one that they've been playing since they started touring Europe? _________________ Do you like the dark? Do you like the way it moves? Do you come alive when neon kills the sun? |
