Just got back from seeing the show in Albuquerque and then in Denver. I have to say that besides the shows being the best I have ever been to, these guys are such a class act.
Vinny Appice was nice enough to give me a vip pass for Denver and made sure I got to the venue safely and made sure I got food while I was there. He was a blast to hang out with...very nice guy and a mind-blowing drummer....unbelievable solo 
I also got to talk to Scott Warren....thanks to him, I got to meet Vinny in the first place...I saw him in NM....I may sound stupid, but during the show, I was hearing these incredible keyboards, but couldn't see where they were coming from...It was Scott...A lot of you probably already knew this, but I didn't. His playing was perfection from beginning to end...a lot of people don't pay much attention to the keyboards during a show, but there was so much for this show and he was like I said, perfect. Nice guy as well.
At one time, I was sitting with Vinny and Tony Iommi walked in. He was very much a gentleman and I didn't want to bug him for a picture because it was before the show, but I wish I had because I never got one...My mouth was hanging wide open watching this guitar legend play...sigh...
As for Geezer, IMO, he doesn't get the recognition he deserves...or maybe I just never quite got how great he is. I never spoke to him, but have a whole new appreciation for him. I have never really payed much attention to a bass player, but found myself in complete awe of his talent.
Oh yeah, then there is Ronnie...What else can I say that I haven't already said in Diotalk. Nice as always, complete class act all the way, no suprises there  . The man never missed a note...
What a blast...worth all 25 hours in the car, although my butt still hurts  .

You are way wrong here...Diodreams did not get preferential treatment...personal myself...I don't have the time or the inclination to get back stage for any act never mind Dio.
But I will admit to being backstage to meet Iron Maiden in the 80s
Does not make me a bad person or a groupie... 
Anyone can get backstage all you need is a little savvy. |

Oh fuck, give me a break. My intentions were to ask Ronnie some questions so that I could post them here for his fans. There is still a list of questions that haven't been answered from Christmas last year. He didn't have time for an "interview" so it didn't happen. And I don't give a flying rat's ass if hanging out with them makes me look like a "groupie" to you or anyone else. Who here would have passed up the opportunity??? And I didn't even have to put out! Imagine that! And all here who know me, know that I would never do or say anything without good intentions. But you don't know me. So did I answer your question Noriko

And you are right...she may be a nice person...it's hard to tell by a post...however, unless she proves otherwise, she's made a bad impression so far, IMO.
