It is probably DiO's heaviest CD.
This is a very good CD. I got it yesterday from an used CD shop.
I also really like the slow intro of "Strange Highways title song".
I have heard many people say that this CD came out at the wrong time.
Grunge was in demand at this time in 1994 and 1995. Hardly anyone was listening to Metal. I was, but I was one of the few that were.
This was not the only CD that came out during this time that was ignored:
MegadetH - "Youthenasia" CD came out at the wrong time as well.
Maiden - "The X Factor" CD as well.
Very good CDs, but just came out at the absolute wrong times.
If these CDs had come out in the 80's or maybe 1990 or 1991, they would have probably not been as ignored as they were. _________________ "We'll know for the first time, if we are evil or divine; we're the last in line. See how we shine!!" |

One of my favorite Dio records. It has all the elements of great heavy metal. Fresh and new indeed, #75Race!
Too bad so many people are such crybabies over it. Thank God Ronnie didn't just keep remaking Last In Line, or Holy Diver.

Exactly! Otherwise we'd have Holy Diver part 10! _________________ Sit on it, Potsie. |

The 80's rocked. They had Alice Cooper, Lita Ford (who will always have a special place in my heart), Guns N Roses, Dio, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Ozzy, Motorhead, Girlschool, Queen, Nazareth (i think), yeah, the 80's rocked out loud. _________________ Chase the horizons, catch the illusion
