What does it mean when Dio says "dont write in starlight"?

i think i means...

take it easy on the drugs... the kind that makes you see Angles...
Darkness...

be very carefull... when you drive...

make damn sure the Road Ahead is Open... for Traffic...

before you go down the Path... of...

if you Survive... then... the Names becomes very Clear...

I think it means - be careful of what you wish for. Or don't wish bad things on someone, could be another meaning.

Starlight is limiting. So you are more accustomed to the dark if you can see to starlight. Darkness is sometimes refered to as an innocent wickedness we all have - the Id - in RJD's songs - or at least in my interpertations.

okay that makes sense. I was thinking it was something like wishing upon a star. but only that damn cricket on the disney cartoons does that.

My supervisor thinks its something to do with witchcraft. Like laying out the candles and the salt(?) and writing out your spell by connecting the stars or something. I dont know.Hes crazy. His name is Damian

I just think it's to do with being sure. As Daemon said, starlight is limiting. if you can't see what you're doing properly, it may lead to something bad. Be sure of what you do, or at least be sure that the situation in which you make the decision is conducive to making an informed one.

i thought like Daemon Blackrazor too, when i was a child sometimes when i'm in bed i start writing in the air infront of me the things that are in my mind(sometimes i still do it ), and well if you are thinking about something that you want or a wish you want to come true, you don't know what might happen if it did come true, it might not lead you to what you have expected.

Okay so I had a dream that went something like this...

I was on my bike at a fast food drive through and I was visiting a friend that was working there. Im not even sure if the person at the drive through was a real friend of mine in real life but in my dream he was my friend. So Im talking to my friend through the window and this car is behind me just laying on the horn and the driver is telling me to move. I reply with a "Hey, fuck you!" and then the door opens, and Ronnie James Dio comes out. So I then shake his hand and introduce my self to him. So me, RJD, and my friend sit down and eat some burgers. We are talking about music and all kinds of stuff and I say "Okay, Dio, what did you mean when you said "dont write in starlight"?" And he tells me "come take a walk with me" So we start walking around outside and theres a bunch of dog shit on the ground for some reason and RJD was talking to me but I was too busy dodging the dog poo to really listen to him. So I say "what did it mean" and he said "....I dont know, I was really high when I wrote that song and it just sounded good" So we all start laughing really hard and we decided to go to the dollar store. We were the only ones in the store and it wasnt very well lit and it was really cluttered. So we all split up and start shopping around and I say "hey, I wonder what kind of coffee they have here" and I look back at RJD and he turns into a rat and runs away under the aisles. That was pretty much the end....yep...
