hi, long time Dio fan (with Sabbath and Solo) and will be at the Heaven and Hell show in NYC at Radio City..
Since this is my first time to this forum i will ask what might be a dumb question... will you guys, meaning others going to this show, post here where you might meet up and have beers before the show?
I will be coming to the City alone, wife not a metal fan at all, and will be looking for the like minded to have some beers with.

Normally, August in TX sucks. But August can't get here fast enough now! I'm seriously jealous of those in Canada or NY. I can't travel this time of year for any of those shows, but I'm going to go to as many as I can if there are shows in San Antonio, Austin, Houston or Corpus Christi. I'd like to get to at least 2 shows, preferably 3. I think this is the best band Dio will have played with since last time they were together.

I hope they do Heaven & Hell in its entirety, not the shortened version we've gotten used to from Dio over the years.

Hi! I'm new on here and wanted to add to your comment about San Antonio in the summer.

Queensryche just booked San Antonio for July 14. I wonder if maybe, just maybe, these two may be gigging together. ???

How cool would that be??

I didn't see anyting on Pollstar, but I see it at the QR official site. Strange that its the only US date they have up there. That's an out door place. I hope Heaven And Hell plays elsewhere. I'd much rather Verizon. It's outdoors, but at least its covered so you aren't standing in the sun for hours.

Did you see QR at Majestic here in San Antonio last year, or did you go to the Austin show?

I really dislike that Sunken Gardens venue that QR is scheduled to play in July. I hope H&H isn't a part of that.

It is odd that they have one lonely date booked for the summer so far. That is why I strongly suspect they are going to be 'co-headlining' with another band of equal caliber.

Believe me, I wish this show was NOT outside. I hate the heat and the Sunken Dump even more.

I was at QR's show at the Majestic last year. (That is a beautiful venue!) I never miss their central Texas shows and have even gone to Dallas on a weeknight to see them.

I am going to the Vancouver show. I just hoped they would also come to the Seattle or Portland areas...
