Contrary to published reports, former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is alive and well and working on his highly anticipated solo album.

It has been erroneously reported on various web sites and wire services that the legendary guitarist had committed suicide.

Not so!

"I don't know how this ridiculous rumor got started," smiles Ace, as he eats his daily allotment of wheat germ, preparing to jump back on his treadmill.

In a January 2006 interview with Guitar World magazine, Frehley had the following to say regarding his current projects: "I've been working on a solo album and a few film projects. I'd love to do an instructional video, but I want it to be comedic. [Laughs] I don't want it to be just another boring how-to-play video. I may not be the world's greatest guitarist, but at least I'm never boring."

Hey I am not a Kiss fan...but I do like some of Ace's playing... Cool

Gary Moore will air material from his upcoming album on this weekend's edition (Feb. 25) of his weekly series "Blues Power with Gary Moore", which is broadcast on the U.K.-based national digital radio station Planet Rock.

Tune in from 7:00 p.m. every Sunday for a chance to hear Moore explore this essential musical genre. You can hear Moore playing some of his all-time favourite blues tracks from across the decades and discussing the story of the blues; focusing on some of the original blues players, including Robert Johnson, John Mayall and the three Kings (Albert, Freddie and B.B.); looking at British, American and new blues; and talking about the women in blues. Not only this, but Gary Moore can be heard playing his guitar live in the studio.

Planet Rock can be heard across the U.K. on DAB Digital Radio, Sky Channel 0110, Cable Channel 924 and online at www.planetrock.com.

AYE, to cookie monster vocals

especially Finntroll, they're great. I got all excited when I seen the North American tour, but both the locations are still kind of far for me, hopefully I'll be able to make it to one.

and they're new album, I can't wait! I couldn't find the sampler HM talked about though, maybe they took it down. -_-

I feel similar about Aerosmith's 1 UK date - at Hyde Park in London. They headline both days, but it's £45 for just ONE day, and that's before I even consider travel!! Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

You'd think after 8 years, they'd play a number of venues!

Arctic Monkeys published the details of their new single. The single
"Brianstorm" is the comeback of the band after last year super success debut "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I’m Not"
This single will be published at 16th of April but we will be able to download it (if anybody cares of course Smile ) from the 2nd of the same month.

This single will be available in three different editions :
