Sorry if there is a thread on these guys around, i couldnt find one, but just wondering which of you like Manowar? My favourite is Battle Hymn, but i also live the bit in the song Metal Warrior, where he says "If you're not into meta,, you are not my friend!!"  gotta love it  Its quite embarassing when you see some of their pictures though, haha.

Wow, cheers HM that rocks !! And i DO love AC/DC etc, DC are my all-time favourite band, but i also love the classic battle metal likes of Manowar

Greetings once again from malta  I haven't entered this forum for a long time (student doctor's life - takes up a lot of my time) - <cough>. Cheers!! I like Manowar too - Battlehymn's solo is great but I think Brothers of Metal is the best song - especially while enjoying a pitcher of beer with your buddies in a rock pub... Head banging in that case is a reflex action kinda like withdrawing your hand when touching a hot pan if you know what I mean... DRINK TO YOUR BROTHERS WHO ARE NEVER TO FALL... WE ARE BROTHERS OF METAL HERE IN THE HALLLLLL!!!!!!!!

Hey, guys Manowar are definitely in every MetalHead's collection.
And thanks to HM for the informations, hey man you are more descriptive than the official webpage.
As for the best song i will vote "Call to Arms" - "When they see us they will run for their life's..."
I also like "Manowar" (name of the song) from their first album 1982_Battle_Hymns when they were singing Rock actually

| Dont know too much about these guys but nice choice for the band name, if in fact they named it after the great manowar (racehorse) from the '20's or '30's he won 20 of 21 races and whos times rival modern day racehorses. He lost one race only because he was boxed in so badly, but rallied and almost went 21 for 21. FYI. |
