I recently listened to AM several times in a row over a few days (while driving) - and I changed my mind completely. It is brilliant, top 5 for me in Dio albums. The guitar solos are weak, but the guitar playing is nevertheless brilliant, with some of the best riffs Dio ever had.
Tracy G didn't work well with other Dio material (and terribly with Rainbow and Sabb stuff), so live it didn't work very well.
But Angry Machines is simply fantastic! Even without the God Hates Heavy Metal Japan-only extra track! Although with it, it is still better |

| This Is Your Life is a beautiful closer and deserves recognition on a 'Best Of' Compilation - if I was to choose any song off this album it would be this one. |
