I wasn't aware that was the case, but then again, I've only ever had one (small) problem, and because I told them I got a £5 off next order. As far as I'm concerned, if it beats going to HMV and being disappointed every time with what they have on the shelves - it can't be bad!

I preordered the...Draconian
New cd...from them Amazon...they have messed up the order,
Still waiting on it...was released 3 weeks ago...if I don't get it by Friday there will be hell to pay!
see you Wink

I wasn't aware there was an EP too (then again the CD only arrived this morning). It's not on Amazon.. Sad

It's called the Heart of Turisas

The Tittle track is basically the same song as "Battle Metal" except it's done with synths, and has different lyrics.

The other 2 songs aren't in the "Battle Metal" Album

Their gigs are very impressive. Something like 10 a 12 man on stage and even a woman, and they all wore bear skins!! Very Happy
One of the most amazing shows I've ever seen. Very talented guys...

Whoa - there's some bloody good prices there. I'm just not very trusting of sellers who aren't big names - I'm (possibly too) wary of them! I ususally only use Amazon, The Freak Emporium(great for obscure stuff), and HMV (as a last resort Wink)

Remember that cd shop...well just got the package today
all brand new and sealed...the prices are so cheap becoz they come from Russia,Moscow...deliver takes a while, word of advice don't buy more than 3 at a time, customs will not give you a VAT charge Wink

I may have to look into that for the future then...

I myself had to order a Hawkwind DVD (w/ an appearance by Arthur Brown Very Happy) the other day - not because I want it just now or because I have spare money, but it seems to be out of stock just about everywhere with no word in new stock coming in. HMV had a few copies at a reduced price so I got one while I still could. It shouldn't be like this...Sad

2007 has been an amazing year for Finnish folk metal warriors TURISAS with the release of their epic new album, "The Varangian Way", playing the main stage at the Download festival, Metal Hammer's "Get In The Ring" and Kerrang! magazine's "Day of Rock" shows in London, a sold-out UK tour, Wacken Open Air, Tuska and Graspop Metal Meeting festivals and touring Europe with ICED EARTH and ANNIHILATOR .. and finishing off with the year in style with a show-stealing performance at last weekend's inaugural Hard Rock Hell festival in Minehead, England… so what better way to start 2008 than bringing everyone's favorite Viking warriors back to the UK to play some more shows?

Warlord Nygard comments on the forthcoming tour: "We just got back home from Hard Rock Hell festival in Minehead, which surely was a great and rather interesting experience… we are still trying to cure our hangovers! We did our first UK tour this September, and the response was overwhelming — with sold-out dates and crazy crowds everywhere! In March we will return to tour cities and towns we didn't play in September and we're expecting you guys to prove us right in not only touring the main 4-5 cities, but trying to play as much of the country as we can and meet as many of you battle metallers as possible."

TURISAS UK tour dates:

March 01 - (UK) Northampton - Soundhaus
March 02 - (UK) Sheffield - Corporation
March 03 - (UK) Aberdeen - Moshulu
March 04 - (UK) Edinburgh - Studio 24
March 05 - (UK) Liverpool - Academy 2
March 06 - (UK) Norwich - Waterfront
March 07 - (UK) Peterborough - Park
March 08 - (UK) Leeds - Cocpit
March 10 - (UK) Exeter - Cavern
March 11 - (UK) Cardiff - Clwb Ifor Bach
March 12 - (UK) Southampton - The Brook
March 13 - (UK) London - Electric Ballroom
March 14 - (UK) Brighton - Concorde 2
