Alright, awesome array of pic evidence. In this discussion on another forum over something Paul (or whomever) over men having short hair and anything other is a disgrace and women having long hair or anything other is a disgrace. I guy was taking about men's hair stops growing at shoulder length. He is from the hippy era. I for one had no problem in growing my hair waaaaay past my shoulders and the longest I got it was to the middle of my back before I cut it off.

Anyway these guys are waaaay too Jew centric in looking at customs etc and I was bringing up Roman culture and that it had to have an influence since Paul was as well a roman citizen and in Roman culture men wore their hair short like those of the pics of Rob Halford. They considered longer hair uncultured etc and look at people like that as barbarians. I have never seen any Roman male stature with a male with his hair down to his shoulders or past them. He was going on that hair length was relative which is irrelevant. It does not matter if short hair to Romans was a beatles moppit or shorter or longer. What is relevant is that their hair was shorter than the Germanic tribes that they considered to be barbarians and uncultured, ie bad people. Good people wore their hair short. This was carried over into post Roman European society as upper crest, especially nobility wore their hair short. We are talking men and christian rome as it spread across europe. Which even today it is consider short hair good long hair bad. Short hair nice, friendly, and trustworthy. long hair mean, unfriendly, and untrustworthy. The same with ties and suits are supposed to make you well mannered. The point I was making was this short hair on males in Roman society existed for hundreds of years before a Paul existed (or whomever) and Paul was creating christian morals in a roman society that may had already been a roman moral but now with a christian twist, ie why men were to have it short and why women were to have it long..
