Unfortunately, it seems that Sir Robert of Normandy, bassist, rythm guitarist and second voice of Blackmore's Night, is going to leave the band. Maybe this will become official in a few days... I'm very sad about this because when I saw BN here in Rome a couple of weeks ago I saw how great he was!

No...why...did Ritchie fire him because he likes all his albums to have at least one new member (see; the band Rainbow). That sucks! Although truth be told, I've never gotten to see Blackmore's Night (or any band) in concert...as they don't come to my city...or my country in some cases.

Until now, I didn't realize Bob Daisley was the bassist on LLRNR. Why was Jimmy Bain not in the band for that album?

But weren't Difficult To Cure and Straight Between The Eyes the same lineup of Blackmore, Turner, Rondinelli, Glover and Airey?

No, on Straight Between the Eyes, David Rosenthal replaced Don Airey. (the Chuck Burgi replaced Bobby Rondinelli for Bent out of Shape).
