I think I have to go with Rudy on this one. I know he hasn't been on a Dio just yet, he's great in concert. He looks like he has a lot of fun in Dio concerts. I'm really looking forward to hearing his work on the new album. NOTE: THIS POLL IS ABOUT DIO BASSISTS THAT HAVE BEEN OR WILL BE ON ALBUMS!

Ugh, I need the moderator to delete this post for my mistake of only putting three bassists on the poll... I can't delete it now since there's votes on it already...

Jimmy gets my vote, but Rudy is probably the better bass player. Jimmy played on all those classic Dio hits.

Voted for Jimmy Bain here, but I really love the work I have seen (and heard) from Rudy Sarzo. I think he's a great bassist and a perfect addition to DIO...looking forward to more from this lineup in the not-so-distant future!

I voted for Jimmy.
I really love his play and taste.
And I appreciate his huge distribution to creating of great DIO songs. His rather poppy taste adds familiar and fantastic mood to DIO music. He is the man. Exclamation

Jimmy is playing with Mandy Lion in WWIII........why he left Dio is I think something personal with Jimmy.
