Dio arent popular enough (comerically) to be overrated

Songs like Holy Diver/Rainbow In The Dark are highlighting heavily in the rock/metal community but they derserve to be

so I wouldn't say on the overall scale any Dio songs were overrated

I think there is no song that is overrated. But there are a lot of songs that are underrated. Take for instance Heaven and hell, even though that was when he was with BS.

All I can say is the one song that has never done it for me, but is still considered a Dio classic- Straight Through The Heart.

I do think they should vary the setlist a little more though.

I never listen to R&R Children, Sacred Heart or I Could Have Been a Dreamer...These are a lot of peoples favorites. Like it has been said, ALL music by Dio is underrated, IMO...but these are some of the most popular one's that I don't care much for. Did that make sense Rolling Eyes

Believe it or not We Rock and Holy Diver are the only songs that Dio has ever done that I routinely skip over on my cd. They have never done much for me.

I really like all the fools sailed away... It's a great song and I don't know why you think it's overrated. But I agree with We rock... I'm sure it's awsome song to hear live but on the record it's not that good for a dio song. Holy diver is kinda overrated but still a nice song and stuff.

My pick would be "Rock And Roll Children". I just have a hard time with some of the "poppier" songs, including "Mystery" and "Hungry For Heaven". For my money, the most underrated might well be "I Speed At Night"- simply can't get enough.
