It was close--between HD Live & Evil or Divine, but for me Evil or Divine had a better mix of songs, plus it had Last in Line--one of my favorites. Also the the medley of Children of the Sea & Egypt was great.
HD Live just had too much from HD for me. Dio has so many great ones, it's hard to pull off playing an entire album like that without leaving out too many others. I loved hearing SotSC, but it was clipped so that spoiled it. Also loved hearing the snippet from Catch the Rainbow, but again only a tease. Wish he'd cut out some other Rainbow tune and played that one (in it's entirety) instead. Still a great DVD though. |
