| I love all the Rainbow with Dio. My vote was for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, the first album. |

If the poll were about Rainbow songs, I'd have chosen the Stargazer/Light in the Black pair, easily.
But since it's about albums, I went with RB'sR, because it has more songs on it that I like to listen to regularly than Rising does, so if you took the average for each album of how much I like each of the songs, RB'sR would pull into the lead. |

...heh, and this week I want to change my answer and say "Rising" is my favorite. It kind of fluctuates between the two
LLR&R, despite "Gates of Babylon" (and "Lady of the Lake"), is consistently third place of the three, but that's just because it's up against such rough competition. |

| it's difficult to chose...but i voted Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow because this work contains many of my favourite songs like "man of the silver mountain", "catch the rainbow", "the temple of the king", "long live R'n'R". the first time that i heard "catch the rainbow" and "the temple of the king", I had a very intense feeling....i can't expalin.... |

Very hard one as Rainbow is my second favourite band! (Only Dio years, except All Night Long) But I went with Rising. _________________ "You Can See But Your Blind"

In my humble opinion Long Live Rock n' Roll is best for me.
The first album is fine but weak at times.
Rising has some better songs than LLRR but suffers with an OK song in Run With The Wolf . A Light In The Black is a good song in its own right but totally over shadowed by the awesome Stargazer and too similar.
For me LLRR does not have a bad song, some amazing songs, title track, Gates of Babylon, Kill The King and the very under rated The Shed. If that is not enough it has an amazing vocal performance from Ronnie on Rainbow Eyes. This makes it an all round better album for me.
In a way I am splitting hairs as I love all 3 for different reasons but LLRR shades it for me. |

Challenging poll--truly hard to decide between these three.
I would have to say Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.
Man on the Silver Mountain alone has always held a particular spot for me. But all the others have their place as well.
