I put my vote on that album, too. Even though I love the Rising-album, too. And the first one is really great, too... Well, Rainbow was great! _________________ ~Straight down I'm swirling around

I put my vote to Rising - simply the best! Stargazer - I think it's one of greatest songs in the history of rock. _________________ I'll carry on to do it right, or... get out! (c) Cozy Powell

Has to be.....the first one,I love every single song on this cd!
But all the Rainbow cds are works of Art!
Ronnie singing and writing is perfection on here
Ritchie shows some real emotion on the songs as well,
''Catch the Rainbow'',''Temple of the King'',"Snake Charmer", "Self Portrait'', "Man on the Silver Mountain"and "Sixteenth Century Greensleeves"big favourites of mine, for me this cd was written from the heart by Ronnie and Ritchie. |

I love all Rainbow album, from "Ritchie Blackmore's RAinbow" to "Stranger In Us All", but my favourite studio album by Rainbow is "Rising"... it's a part of the history of Rock... Rising is a perfect album! _________________ THEY CAN'T STOP US, LET 'EM TRY, FOR HEAVY METAL WE WILL DIE!

| I just love Kill The King, Long Live R&R, and several other songs from the third studio album, but the duo: Stargazer / Light In The Black is AWESOME. So although it's a tough decision, I would go with Rising, then LLR&R and the first album not far behind. |

| Rising but it's really difficult to choose since it lacks a ballad like the other albums... |

I would pick Long live Rock & Roll . While R.R. has two classic
song Tarot Woman , and Stargazer ! which are excellent !
LLRR imo is a stronger album on the whole . |

| Long Live Rock N Roll. Cozy's contributions are amazing. Every song on that album is a classic. But you could say the sme thing for Rising. Ronnie has said he made three perfect albums, Rising, Heaven and Hell, and Holy Diver. Apparently his favorite is Rising. |

Well, Dio's favourite is the first album, he is so enthusiastic when he talks about it. To me, Rising is perfect, but I don't know if it's to Ronnie. He wasn't 100% satisfied with his singing on Light In The Black, from what I know. |

| All the Rainbow albums are great, but if I had to choose just one, it would be Rising. |
