| .... Headless Children > Crimson Idol (excluding Chainsaw Charlie) TCI is kind of a repeatitive thing for me, Chainsaw Charlie is an amazing vicious change but I also like The Idol and the great misconceptions of me on that album. Oh well, if it's pushed back it's pushed back. |

What a great concert yesterday night!!!! W.A.S.P. were really really great!!!!!!!
The guitarist is the one who replaced Criss Holmes when this one left the band and he's very very good!
Blackie was simply GREAT and the same for the rest of the group!
If you're interested, I can post you the tracklist of the concert... here you are:
(Intro)
On Your Knees
Hate To Love Me
L.O.V.E. Machine
Wild Child
Medley: Widowmaker - Sleeping In The Fire
Arena Of Pleasure
Headless Children
The Idol
[Guitar solo]
I Wanna Be Somebody
BIS:
Chainsaw Charlie (Murders In The New Morgue)
II BIS:
Blind In Texas
One of the best concerts I have ever seen...
and, during I Wanna Be Somebody, since I was jumping while I was doing this " \m/ ", Blackie looked and pointed at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you'll have the occasion of going to see W.A.S.P.... well, GO! _________________ THEY CAN'T STOP US, LET 'EM TRY, FOR HEAVY METAL WE WILL DIE!

hehe... I was already a fan of W.A.S.P. but this concert really made me understand how great they are! Next time they'll come to Italy another time, I'll go to see them for the second time... I hope that all of you had (or will have) the opportunity to see W.A.S.P.!
I think (as you think) that Chainsaw Charlie is the best song They do live (together with "I Wanna Be Somebody" and "Blind In Texas")! _________________ THEY CAN'T STOP US, LET 'EM TRY, FOR HEAVY METAL WE WILL DIE!

| According to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, W.A.S.P. cut short its April 28, 2007 gig in Karlskrona, Sweden after frontman Blackie Lawless complained of pain in his chest. The band came back after a 10-minute break to perform one final song, "Blind in Texas", before Lawless was rushed to a local hospital for observation. No serious problems were found and W.A.S.P. went on to perform a slightly abbreviated set in Lund the following day. |

W.A.S.P., The Headless Children, The Crimson Idol, Still Not Black Enough, The Neon God 2 The Demise and that new album Dominator are awsome albums.
Can't forget how much I loved debyt and Still Not Black Enough when I got them years ago.
See ya them in finland! _________________ "I'll turn away and never face the sun

The official website is debunking this as a bogus rumor. _________________ Sit on it, Potsie. |

I got motivated by these threads and went and looked up WASP clips on Youtube. Some pretty good stuff. I knew Chris Holmes in high school but didn't follow him much after that. I took my first (and only) bass lessons from his bassist Don (pre WASP days). My friend Brad took lessons from Chris and Randy Roads for years . Blackie definitely got where he always wanted to go - the raunchiest, sleaziest, hardest rock band in the world. _________________ Bass guitarists hold it all together. |
