That would be nice. But I don't think it will be out by the end of the year. The band is on tour in Europe thorugh September 30th. 3 months to get evertying thing recorded, mixed, pressed and in stores sounds unlikely. And that's assuming the songs are all completely written and ready to go. I say summer 2007.

EDIT - Band is on tour through November 19th. No way a new album is out this year.

I agree with you completely. When a band says a date for an album, add six months. If the band is the Scorpions, add 18 months. If the band is Pink Floyd, Boston, or Cinderella, add 7 years. If the band is scab Guns N' Roses, well, it'll be a really long time, but who the hell cares. Laughing

AC/DC - you don't need to add any time because they never give you any date!

ZZ Top - it doesn't matter if they give a date or not, because they fall into the same category as poor Alice. People will say: "Are they (is he) really still putting out music? I didn't know they (he) were still around." Crying or Very sad

ZZ Top - Billy said they would go into the studio between Thanksgiving and Christmas and record the album (follow-up to Mescalero) then. He said this in summer of 2005...

A live recording of the new W.A.S.P. song "Mercy", taped during the band's appearance in Bulgaria earlier in the month, has been made available for download via the band's official forum at www.waspnation.com (free registration required).

"Mercy" is expected to be included W.A.S.P.'s new album, "Dominator", tentatively due before the end of the year.

W.A.S.P. canceled its previously announced European dates in July after frontman Blackie Lawless was diagnosed with an abnormality in one of the arteries leading to his heart.

W.A.S.P. is continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "The Neon God Part 2: The Demise", available now via Sanctuary Records' Metal-Is imprint.

I saw that Blabbermouth post too, but I can't find the song on their site or forum. I see discussion of the song.

Does anyone have it, or a link that goes to the download? I'd like to hear it.

W.A.S.P.'s manager, Daniel Stanton of Coallier Entertainment, has provided BLABBERMOUTH.NET with the artwork for the band's upcoming album, "Dominator", tentatively due on October 17 via Sanctuary Records. Check it out at this location.

I just saw that but was too lazy to bring it over to this board. Shame on me. Thank you, Holy, for cleaning up after the rest of us. Very Happy

Doe she mean October 17th this year? Huh. It must be completely done. I didn't think they had the album in the can, from reading their message boards.

Anyway, if its a kickass album of songs and not some pretentious neon god shit, that's cool. Another album like Dying For The World would be just fine.

Oh, and shut up Bobby! Wink

By the way, does that DP at the end of your name stand for Deep Purple or double penetration? Just asking. Very Happy
