I don't really like females'voices...

BUT Doro is a real woman, she rocks and she's so...well,attractive...She came in France but I couldn't see her.She seems to be funny, charismatic and enthusiast. She doesn't look like those girls who need a lot of make-up and mini-skirts!She is the female representation of Rock with a strange and amazing voice!

LACUNA COIL frontwoman Cristina Scabbia is featured on the cover of the new issue of the Italian edition of Rolling Stone magazine.

LACUNA COIL made their much-anticipated return to the U.S. on June 29 as part of this year's Ozzfest main-stage lineup. The massive summer trek coincides with the release of the new single "Enjoy the Silence", which impacted commercial radio last week. The video for the track, completed by the directorial team Fort Awesome, who also shot the group's acclaimed "Our Truth" clip, made its U.S. television debut on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on July 15. Watch the video online at YouTube.com.

Since its release, LACUNA COIL's new album, "Karmacode", has sold over 100,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and spent a total of eight weeks on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The album's success can be partly contributed to the strength of its lead-off single, "Our Truth", and a stellar live performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in May. The track was added by over 75 Active Rock and Alternative Radio outlets (and played by well over 125 commercial outlets in all), becoming a Top 30 Active Rock single while spending over 2 1/2 months on the Top 40 Active Rock Radio Chart and reaching a monitored Arbitron audience of over 11 million listeners.

LACUNA COIL's breakthrough single "Heaven's A Lie", from the acclaimed 2002 album "Comalies", is currently featured in a summer promotional spot for CBS-TV's "Criminal Minds" program.

LUNARMILE, the British band featuring frontwoman Toni-Marie Iommi (daughter of BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi) and bassist Alex Hill (son of JUDAS PRIEST bassist Ian Hill), has uploaded a two-minute EPK (electronic press kit), featuring interview and live footage, at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSUDKjjweHI
LUNARMILE's recently released EP features the three tracks "4 AM", "Get Over Yourself" and "I Know", all of which are also available via iTunes. In addition, the CD format includes a bonus acoustic version of the track "Stay".

Based in the Midlands, LunarMile was founded by vocalist Toni-Marie Iommi and guitarist Tom Williams in 2003; bassist Alex Hill and drummer Rob Stimpson from the band Gravel joined in 2005.
The band’s style is unique, yet contains clear rock influences from bands from Led Zeppelin and The Stones to Queen, No Doubt and Muse. The resulting mix is a breathtaking kaleidoscope of classic and modern, heavy rock and pop.

The band have clocked up over 80 gigs to date, including Mean Fiddler, Hard Rock London & Birmingham, LSE, Caernarvon Castle, 93 Feet East, JBs Dudley, Rios Bradford, Little Civic Wolverhampton, Robin 2 Bilston, Barfly Birmingham, Edwards No 8 Birmingham, Cox’s Yard Stratford-upon-Avon, Marrs Bar Worcester. They’ve also done a number of very successful support slots with the likes of Glenn Hughes, Blue Öyster Cult and Ricky Warwick (The Almighty).

They are regulars on the news pages of the Blabbermouth.net website and related syndicated sites and have had airplay on radio stations across the world including BBC 6 Music (Bruce Dickinson Show), Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock, The Rock FM (New Zealand) and Sveriges Radio (Sweden). They also did a live acoustic session for BBC Radio WM earlier this year.

LunarMile’s first EP, simply titled ‘LunarMile’ was released in June 2006,

She's pretty hot, but I don't hear ANY influences from her father!

...actually I didn't really hear enough to make a good decision..

sounds a bit too popish to me...but that's only basing it on the limited snippits....

ScotClayton the cd on my banner is my favourite cd....just now....the women sound like Kate Bush and Judie Tzuke...a lovely, beautiful cd....good riffs, amazing piano sounds...as well,I have never heard anything like it in ages....its not too gothic becoz its more uplifting....but the lyrics are well crafted as well, also well produced...theres not a song on it I dislike.

...HM...Satyrian are obviously a great group of musicians...but I believe that I have allready explained to you...that this style of music just isn't my speed...It just doesn't cut it as Heavy Metal to me...I like variety...but I personally think that there is just a basic "formula" to make a song Rock!...& few bands have been able to ever live up to the criteria that I have learned to expect from bands such as DIO, Maiden, WASP...& then there's just good ol'fashioned Rock & Roll... Like Early Aerosmith...AC/DC...Thin Lizzy...Nugent..."You Know" the vintage Hard & Heavy sound that I am refering to... Idea ...I guess I just have a one track mind when it comes to music... Cool...Female Fronted Bands that really rock are even more Rare...which actually makes them even more special to me...I think I've mentioned some of my favorites here...but I wish there were more!... Wink
