I totally agree with you...I have everything Heart and Pat Benatar put on cd and dvd,but...they don't come to UK or Europe so why should we buy there cds/dvds?
ps....I have seen Heart live.....but I am talking about now 2006!
Off topic... for years we waited for Journey to come to UK!
And when they did come NO Steve Perry! and cds sales are down becoz of that!
Its becoz of Dio that I like female fronted bands....simply becoz I lot of male rock bands...vocals are just crap!
Becoz of the high standard that Ronnie James Dio has put on cd,I find it very hard to listen to a lot of male fronted bands, apart from a few with great vocalists, like Iron Maiden,UFO etc.
Also becoz of the age group of my friends...and I don't want to be called an old git! They all like this kind of music! |

Pat Benetar is great. Anne Wilson is still pretty good.
If I had to pick a more current female fronted "band" (not counting solo artists), I'd go with Garbage. I also like Concrete Blonde a lot.
And on the more mellow side, Margo Timmins of Cowboy Junkies has a beautiful voice. |

I like some songs of Edenbridge.
But her best performance had Sabine Edelsbacher together with
Bob Catley,in the song "Believe enough to fight",from Gary Hughes
"Once & future King" ! _________________ No more night-I´ve seen the light

There should be a Warlock CD, I think Doro Pesch is greatest female metal singer and she has done long career. _________________ "Vaikka totuus ja valhe vaihtelevat

I don't know if they have taken her crown or not but they have changed things a bit since then. Hell let's not forget Lita or Lee Aaron. But on to the new I would say OTEP Is pretty damn good and is she hot!!! Aalso oops also been starting to like Arch-enemy why did no one mention Evasceinse (or however the hell you spell it) Seen Doro with Yngwie and Dio in 2000 on Magica tour pretty fucking cool and Doro was still kicking ass!!! |
