Contemplating the following curiosity:
Electric Wizard - Witchcult Today or Dopethrone - I've heard they are similar to Orange Goblin and Black Sabbath so I'm really curious about this band. I know they did a split release with Orange Goblin but I've never heard Electric Wizard.
On Order:
G/Z/R - Plastic Planet
Rainbow - Live in Nuremburg
Gamma Ray - Land of the Free II
Purchased:
Hammerfall - Best of
WASP - Helldorado and The Sting (CD) |

Bobby this ''war'' goes way back...not sure when it really start but I think it was during the making of The Wall movie,Waters said to the british press that Floyd was a spent force,so Gilmour told the world Waters had left the band, now add a little good old british stubbornness and you have 2 men being very childish, the battle for the name of the band, then bring in lawyers sometimes its hard to step back ,I heard a rumour that a tour promoter in the US had offered the band over $200 million to tour the USA after the Live 8 gig,but Gilmour was not interested and has he the rights to the name Pink Floyd there can't be a tour without him,Bobby its not just the musical differences between Gilmour and Waters its also about beliefs and values, they are so far apart which is a shame |

Well, I have bought my last haul of CD's for a while due to Uni, Work and storage space, though sadly I never find any music for me reduced in the sales
I have ordered/waiting for/got:
Candlemass - Epicus, Nightfall, Live, Doomed for Live and Candlemass [Recently discovered this band after taking a chance on King of... and I have to say this is one of the best bands I've found in a while ]
Anthrax - Persistence of Time, Stomp 442
Empire - Raven Ride
Clutch - Jam Room
Accept - Breaker
And for Christmas I was give Pig Iron's Paths to glory album which is also very good!
With the exception of a couple of Candlemass albums, some of which being re-released at the end of January my CD is complete until Benedictum/Priest/Maiden/Megadeath/H&H et al. release new albums - no more new bands for me now. |
