My view on what techno I've heard is that in comparison to rock/metal, the amount of skill required is minimal.
Please, if I'm wrong, tell me, but it seems to me that the 'music' is created in a computer and looped, and the vocal are edited again through a computer, to the point where no real skill is needed...
But as I say, if anyone can correct me, I'd be interested.
