Hazzah, my first topic!
Anyway, I was wondering what everyone thinks of techno music, I've talked to a lot of metal heads who hate it with a passion, and others who love it.
I personally can't get enough of it, especially techno that has attributes of metal infused into it.

Bronski Beat is the only techno I recall.

Another good choice is Love and Rockets band.
Their 1986 release "Express" had a great song
called "Yin and Yang (the flower pot man).

Well I don't think it is good nor bad. I simply do not prefer it. The same as country music or many other genres.
Not a put down to you but indifferent maybe should have been a choice. The only techno I liked and liked because I thought it was funny was a video someone did usng old video game graphics lampooning, "All Your Bases Are Belong to Us."

Yea, I was trying to figure out a third choice that would encompass the whole I don't care/haven't heard any area, indifferent definitly would have been a better choice.
And if anyone likes techno besides me and dusthead I recommend www.di.fm. It's a techno online radio station that streams music through Windows Media Player. It is free to so, enjoy.

About time as well...what took you so long for a topic.... 
I am not a fan of any music like that...but as you said there is more
music like that out there.....being played in night clubs every week. |
