I'm sure, at the end of medley ( Man.../blues/Starstruck) in "On Stage", that scream is still in my ears!

din't read all the posts but i think you all missed the growling scream of pain from strange high ways "bury my bones on the moon"

only i would end it "if they ever should find me it won't be too soon"

more like it, i wish he does that song on stage sometime

For those that listened the new live album, what is your opinion about the HUGE scream of Ronnie at the Mob Rules song...

Come ooooooooonnnnnnnn.............

This deserves to be in the best screams i think...

During the song Heaven&Hell on the live-cd Holy Diver Live, he goes like "All right, all right, riiighhht" and it sounds like he's spitting out some liquid poison he had for breakfast or whatsoever. I think that is the best Dio scream! \m/

Yes, this was one of the most epic screams I have ever heard.

Just about every one of my favourites has already been said, but I really like it in Night People when Dio screams hey dreamchild.

One I'm listening to at the moment- I could have been a dreamer, cos dreams are what we aaaaaarrre.

I think the most OTT (OTT in the good way) flesh melting, cream erupting, impregnating, esophagus vaporising vocal solo (scream) has to be in Don't Talk to Strangers, when, in the outro, he states my new mantra:

PROTECT YOUR SOUL!

I think protecting your soul and not listening to fools, are two great bits of advice. Stay away from people who do you harm, and don't inflict any on yourself.

I've been thinking about it and the "Protect your soul!" scream in DTTS is a really extraordinary one, just great. I think it gets my vote for "scream on studio record" and the mob rules heaven and hell live @ radio city gets the award for best "scream on live record." lol.

I've read these pages (delicious topic I'd say! Very Happy ) and I didn't find one "scream" I really, really love:

Feed My Head, after the slow part...
... take me to nowhere
where everybody flies... OH!

This is so tasty I remember listening just to this part over and over again, from slow-dreamy-surreal ballad to the operatic-metal scream!

I also love the "Oh shame on the night" kind of scream, but it's been mentioned already... Also the "pain" scream...

But what I adore (although they are pure music and no screams) are the final, descending "oh-oh-oh"s from "Stargazer"!

I'd have to say the intros to Don't Talk To Strangers or Last In Line.

You're absolute right about that.
And the mantras are the best way to protect our souls and minds, as you perhaps know... If you don't know, then write on Google words "The Tube of Light", and find out... and it's worth of trying... Smile
