Should be a great read.
Iommi, who's best known as the lead guitarist and founding member of Black Sabbath, along with Ozzy Osbourne, is considered by many as one of the founding fathers of heavy metal. The autobiography also chronicles the birth, rise and fall of Black Sabbath through the Osbourne years and the subsequent entry of frontman Ronnie James Dio. An official description of the book describes it as a no-holds barred account of the life and times of one of the most influential bands in the history of heavy metal.
The description reads, "Everything associated with hard rock happened to Black Sabbath first: the drugs, the debauchery, the drinking, the dungeons, the pressure, the pain, the conquests, the company men, the contracts, the combustible drummer, the critics, the comebacks, the singers, the Stonehenge set, the music, the money, the madness, the metal." The book is expected to hit the shelf on October 13 in the UK and November 1 in the US.
