Not sure if the above link will work, but it is "One Night in the City" on the first concert of "Last in Line" tour in Holland. Funny that Vinny's drum kit isn't that big yet. And Vivian is still kicking ass on guitar in his familiar red sheriff badge shirt.

As always, Dio's voice is in top form, his fame was just starting to climb.

Hope you can see it. I always loved this tune.

Hmm, strange to think it is almost 30 years since this show..

I just came to think, I have been listening to Ronnie's music for over 30 years... that is a long time... is there any wonder his death has created a big void in my musical conscience...and the music world as a whole..?

I must have listened to his music at least 15 times every week in average over these years.. It means i must have listened to his music (single tracks or whole albums or film clips) about 25000 (a cautious estimate) times the last 30 years..

Wow..


And just one another fact about Dio showing his long span as an artist... he was a recording artist long before the Beatles was... so in my opinion this makes him one of the greatest in popular music ever, up there with Elvis, Sinatra, J L Lewis, Johnny Cash , Beatles and more.. he was in the absolute elite..

Yes, I don't know where this show came from. Or why I didn't notice or see it until now. I have been searching youtube for Dio shows for years now.

Classic show, though. Would be nice to have a compilation for the fans put together and cleaned up nicely.
