Well, still no sign of my copy. I have a bad feeling that it is not likely to arrive at all now. I was really disappointed that I didn't receive it on Xmas day - as of course were my parents who bought it for me.
The worst thing was that they had told me it hadn't arrived. But on Xmas morning when they handed me a gift that felt very much like a book I thought that they had just told me that it hadn't arrived so that it would be a surprise for me. Imagine my disappointment when I tore thet paper to find Jamie Oliver looking at me.
But on the plus side - I did make a very tasty Chicken Piri Piri using a recipe from the book.
Has anyone else still not received their standard copy yet? |

I have a feeling that mine will get caught up in customs.
Right now US customs agents are on the lookout for Cuban cigars froms Switzerland, so all packages from outside of the US are being screened more closely than normal.
Cigars and explosives.... |

| I was billed back in September for the books I ordered. I haven't even received confirmation of shipment yet. Of course I did get this in an email a while back "Our terms and conditions state that orders will be fulfilled within 28 days of the release date". So much for that. Personally I think they should refund the shipping charges. |

| Okay so I emailed them and asked what there terms and conditions meant. Basically I guess you can get a refund if you want it. I was hoping for something like free shipping but that's not going to happen. They said a partial order of their hardkases arrived today and they will start shipping some orders but I guess anyone in the U.S. like myself will be waiting a while longer due to homeland security issues. They just said it should arrive in January. |

I hope everyone receives their copies.
I had a nice little surprise on Xmas day My husband had actually ordered the book, how he managed to keep it hidden and secret from me I'll never know
No one could get through to me for at least 45 mins as I looked through the book and stared at the pictures.
I really love this book!. I did feel both happy and sad looking through the pictures and reading the tributes. I had to stop tears splashing onto the page at one point! |

Even without the security issues, everything still has to come through customs. (A friend of mine ordered her wedding dress from England, and it just barely made it on time for her wedding.)
And of course....they are on the lookout for those Cuban cigars from Switerzerland....
I have a feeling it will be worth the wait. |

Yayyy!!!!! Mine arrived yesterday. So happy that it arrived.
And what a beautiful tribute to Ronnie that it is. Anyone who is pondering buying a copy should go for it.
Did spot one possible small error though. On page 26 there are 3 photos taken from behind that stage at a show. The caption on the next page says that they are from November 87 'Dream Evil european tour. But the pictures show Denzil the dragon and Ronnie weilding his light sword. I may be wrong as it's before my time but I'm sure they must be from 85/86 on the Sacred Heart tour. Pretty trivial but just an observation.
Still, a fantastic visual memory of the great man. It still doesn't seem to have actually sunk in that he's gone. |

Mine was sent today.
I hope I don't have to pay a massive toll for the book... |

Were you sent a dispatch note via email?
I'm curious to know because I haven't received a shipping note, and i'm anxious to know if my Hardkase Edition has shipped.

Yes, one Mark Smith told me as soon as I had payed for postage via Paypal. marksmith@fifteen65.co.uk
( but I contacted him at first, since I thought I had erroneously chosen "pay at store" in my order) |

| I haven't even been notified of shipment yet but they sure took my money right away back in September. Is there anyone else still waiting for shipment notification? |

Just got mine from the post office prison. Wonderful book! At first glance, more quotes and written info that I'd imagined.
My standard edition was number 204. |
