Speaking of Starcastle (I was anyway) there is also a Starcastle song named Lady Of The Lake which is one of their best songs. Is there any relation between the two?

Love Ritchie's first note in that solo. A lesson for any aspiring guitarist on how to bend and make your gtr weep--Awesome!

I just heard Lady of the lake for the first time today (yeah, im pretty new to the Rainbow material) and one of the first things i noticed about the track is that it's something very familiar about the main riff. Like i heard it before in some other metal song. Does anyone have any clue about which song it might be?

Does my memory serve me right here? I think that Ronnie mentioned in an interview somewhere that he'd love to try and fit some new(old) tunes in the set he was planning for the end of 2009 Dio tour. One song I remember him referring to was Lady Of The Lake. I was so excited. And so dissapointed when the tour got cancelled.

Yeah, Rudy Sarzo said that DIO was going to play this song for the tour of the last year. So they made rehearsal for that.
(This is info Olivious told on the other thread)

I wish I could have heard this song....
