Personally, I think that miniature, inanimate human beings with their staring, unblinking eyes are creepy and weird regardless, but maybe that's just me.  So I wasn't expecting to like the statue (and hence no pre-order).
Murray, I might by a statue of. Wouldn't fall into the darkened depths of Uncanny Valley the way the human statues do. |

| This is disappointing. I had preorderd 2 of them but just canceled my order. I'll still make a small donation to Ronnie's fund though but the product itself is unacceptable. |

I must agree, this is cheesy. I could imagine a statuette done really well though.
Won't be getting one over here.

I bet the company will be disappointed when they see so may cancellations on orders and then very few orders in the future. Wouldn't be surprised if they remake the figure like they did with Randy Rhoads figure was.

| I just got confirmation of my cancellation. It looks like from the homepage that the new Dio web store opens this week. I'll spend the money there instead. |

I got my cancellation too, I think the new Dio webstore is a risk free and a better place for Dio products. So I will do the same and keep my money for official produtcs, maybe a nice statue will be available soon on dio webstore (a nice one  ) |

I lightened the original picture in photoshop a while back (it made me suspicious that they posted a near-silhouette of the statue instead of a clear image) and decided I really didn't want one. Murray in Last in Line pose, waist up with chains? Absolutely! For Ronnie I will stick to cds and dvds, maybe a shirt or two.

I tried that already with 100% of the profits going to the fund, and was brushed off by Dean....nice choice! |
