between 2000 and 2009.....probably the Evening with Dio tour where they played the entire Holy Diver Album in the middle of a 2hr set of classics!! Prior to that is has to be the Sacred Heart tour - biggest stage show ever and won numerous awards......that was a show and a half!!

In m opinion the best Dio tour The Last in Line and Sacred Heart loved the Sacred Heart stage. It's always nice a stage theme but the music makes the concert .

The best between 2000-2009 that I've seen is the TDYK tour
But the best tour must be Sacred Heart with Craig!

hard to choose between Last in Line or Sacred Heart tours, but I'd say S.H. just because of that awesome stage set, a front row seat, shaking Ronnie's hand and Jimmy chucking me a plectrum.
I thought they were great at Donington 87 too, in the pouring rain with steam rising off the crowd. If anyone knows of any footage of that show please let me know. Nothing on YouTube...

Sacred Heart with Vivian, even though that wasnt between 2000-2009, it was the best tour ever hands down! Nothing against Craig he's awesom, but Viv wrote those songs, with Ronnie so they had his passion live.

Most impressive tour of those I've been to was Sacred Heart '85...But your question was about '00-'09.
Of those years I would say Angry Machines simply because of the circumstances.
I saw this show at the Huntridge theater in Las Vegas. The night of the concert just before Dio came onstage, a huge thunderstorm was going on, and knocked the power out. It stayed out until they cancelled the show(about two hours).
What made this concert the best of these years is that they could have refunded our money, and split, but they stuck around an extra night to do the show! Just shows the class act Dio was.
The next night the parking lot was half full of massive portable construction generators(just in case power went off again).
Every Dio concert I've been to was unique in itself, and choosing a best one is almost hard as choosing a favorite Dio song. This is just one of those things where if you asked me tommorrow, you might get a different answer.
