So Dio has sometime to spare...and does a wee project away from the music of Dio,Who would you like him to work with?
I would love to hear Dio/Schenker working together.....
On some concept cd or soundtrack to a movie. |

Sorry for an off topic remark, but wouldn't it be cool if Dio got involved in a concept album (based on some fantasy like ideas). Of course other singers would also contribute. HolyMagica is a story writer, so what would you saym, Holy, for creating a story for the following singers:
Dio: Ronald The Magician
Russell Allen (Symphony X): his son
Robert Plant: The Golden God
Ozzy Osbourne: The Prince Of Darkness
Rob Halford: wizard 1
Geoff Tate: wizard 2
Bruce Dickinson: wizard 3
Ian Gillan: Old King Ian
Lana Lane: The Queen, Ian's wife
James LaBrie (Dream Theater): The Dreamer
King Diamond: The Bringer Of Evil
Geee, it's almost like MAGICA: episode 4
So, Holy, will you make something up? A good storyline? Huh?
And sticking to your topic: I'd love to see Ron doing something with Page, but it's not gonna happen... |

I could write a story ....with these folks in it ......
but who's gonna pay for my time
Okay went me think about it.....
Would have liked more females in the storyline....but I am sure some of the Wizards can get killed off....pretty quick!
Okay..you have a deal....a short story.
But gimme a bit time....just got a kitten which is a Norwegian Forest Cat....pure breed...and at this moment in time its like having a happy lion running about in my home! |

The only time Dio working with Steve Harris/Iron Maiden would have really worked would have been The X Factor. The album is different from other Maiden albums in that its darker, moodier, much more Sabbath-y,...Ronnie would have made it 10x's a better album than Blaze did.
Ronnie singing The Sign of the Cross would have been awesome. |

Dio working with Arjen Lucassen (of Ayeron, Star one and more) with a few singers like Russel Allen, Jörn Lande(Ark, Masterplan), Toni Kakko(Sonata Arctica) & Mattias Blad( Falconer)
yeah and some female vocals from a dutch metal band. Progressive metal gem! |

Sorry dude, the X Factor is 1 of the most underated albums in all of rock n' roll, Blaze was fan-fucking-tastic, no disrepect to Dio, or Dick Brucington, but Blaze did it right, would not want anyone elese on vocals for this epic album. |

ALICE COOPER: ALICE THE WITCH
PLUS: UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER: KING IAN'S NIGHTMARE
And as for the Dio/X Factor thing: Blaze is a decent singer, he did a good job there but... Dio would take the whole album to another level, wouldn't he. |

I said Steve Harris.
I would like to see RJD in my fantasy cast of Jesus Christ Superstar...
Jesus - RJD
Judas - Chris Cornell
Caiaphas - Peter Steele
Pharisees - Geddy Lee, Rob Halford, Messiah Marcolin
Mary Magdalene - Tarja Turunen
Pontius Pilate - Rob Halford _________________ Can I work in a room with a light? |

Ronnie and Steve would be nice but it would have to be some side concept album. Neither dio nor maiden. _________________ Do not worry about the bullet with your name on it, worry about the one that says, "To whom it may concern.."
