Still I'm sad

I am still finding it very hard to come to terms with the loss that we all feel.

Ronnie James Dio was a tremendous powerhouse of music, delighting millions with his song writing, his amazing singing and shear presence on stage. He will be sorely missed by all of us that recognised his genius and talent. He was for me everything that a rock singer should be. His voice was thrilling to listen to. Ok…some people made fun of his rhyming at times like ‘Fire’ and ‘Higher’, but he was still a colossus. We will miss him whether in ‘Dio’ or ‘Heaven and Hell’.

If Heaven and Hell really do exist, he will have gone straight to Heaven for the joy he gave us all. He was the Man On The Silver Mountain!

As his widow, Wendy, said , his music will live forever. What more could any of us ask for?
