Paying tribute to Ronnie.

Hello and greetings, fellow Dio fans.

I find myself at a loss for words. What can I say that others haven't allready?

Unfortunately, I have never had the honour of seeing Dio in person. But, I have always enjoyed his music. Be it Dio, Black Sabbath or Rainbow, or anything else within his considerable body of work, Ronnie James Dio has never failed to transport us to a beautiful world of magic, where anything is possible.

The wonderful music of Ronnie James Dio will always be with us. May it always be our rainbow in the dark on the strange highways.

In closing, I would also like to take a moment to share an anecdote from the Primal Fear show I attended over the weekend.

Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear personally dedicated the song "Fighting the Darkness" to Ronnie James Dio and his memory. I believe he said something to the effect of "The best in the business, Mr. Ronnie James Dio!"

Also, Rainbow and Dio songs were playing between band set ups, and each time a song with Dio on vocals came on, the club was filled with chants of "DIO! DIO!", and myself and another fellow fan raised our brews in toast and tribute.

And one more thing before I wrap up here. I would like to thank Wendy Dio for everything. Wendy, please stay strong during this time. All of us are here for you. And I would like to thank the moderators and admins of this board for a place for a humble fan like myself to pay tribute.
