RJD Vocal Standouts

Okay before you all hang from the Dio towers
I must say that all of Ronnie James Dio vocals stand out as bloody amazing but there is many moments better than the rest.
How many of us have listened to a song, and you' ve heard a part and thought, hell that sounds pretty cool and you've gone back to that particular part in the cd to listen again and again.

I love the way this from Egypt
You've seen them walking on the water
You've seen flying through the sky
They were frightening in the darkness
They had rainbows in their eyes

For me.....Stargazer!!

Near the end of the song...when he sings the line....

I SEE A RAINBOW RISING!!!!

Goosebumps everytimg I hear it.

I'll start with a few of my favorite vocal standouts:

From Master of the Moon--ending chorus:
Oh, turn away and never face the sun

From Black:
Here's what I know

We must fade to black

From Guilty--ending chorus with multiple vocal tracks overlapping:
Guilty, liar, liar
You'll burn in fire
Guilty...
Oh, so guilty

From Atom and Evil--opening:
Blue skies, once upon a dream
All lies, never in between
Then into the garden came the spider
I'm here for you, said the spider to the fly
And when I'm through, you can open up your eyes to see
Your world's on fire, and the liar won't let go

There are so many more of these parts I just can't think of right now. I'll be adding to my list, I'm sure!

Okay, already remembered another vocal standout. This one probably stands at #2 on my list of all RJD vocal standouts, right behind the ending of Master of the Moon.

From Another Lie (time 2:35 in the song)--
She jumps at the moment
She crouches, the hunter, yeah
You look and you know she's telling you
Another lie

The most awesome part is the line, "You look and you know she's telling you..."
