Good-bye Ronnie

I have been listening to RJD for like 20 years now, not very long concerning his career, but during these years bands I listened to came and went away, he always remained...
When I heard the news of his passing, I could not believe it at first, somehow it still seems unreal, like some evil nightmare.
I was lucky to be able to meet him after shows a few times, to have some autographs and some pictures taken, and he was one of the friendliest people I have met.
I remember well the first time, it was raining outside, it was cold, and securities told us to go away, well we did not and after some time Ronnie came out, asked us all to come inside, so he could sign our stuff and talk to us. That memory I will always cherish, what a wonderful and nice person he was...
His passing will leave a huge void in my life, but I also believe that he is not all gone, his body might be, his energy and spirit is still with us - and his music will remain forever!

Rest in Peace Ronnie, you will be missed...
