| I have been listening to this cd, sort of non stop now for about 5 days, the recording is one of the best I have heard from Black Sabbath.I know alot folks missed out on the limited edition print run of 5,000 copies. but if you buy Mob Rules (Deluxe Edition) its the bonus cd. |

Yeah, I got it on the new Mob Rules Deluxe Edition.
It's very, very good. By far the best Dio-era Sabbath Live album I have heard. Even the few Ozzy-era songs, Ronnie makes them sound like they were his own.
I was very pleased to find this album as a bonus for mig Mob Rules, I didn't expect that since they usually have only contained instrumentals and slightly altered versions.
BTW there is also an awesome version of "Die Young" as a bonus track on the first Mob Rules CD. If you don't have the new Deluxe Version i could recommend the album just for that. |

Welcome to the forum M60
I adore Ronnie James Dio singing the Ozzy era songs. Its just my personal preference and nothing against Ozzy.
I am not afraid to admit, I had no interest in Black Sabbath while Ozzy was there.I was too busy listening to Deep Purple and Rainbow. If Ronnie James Dio had not joined Black Sabbath, I know for sure there would be no Black Sabbath cds in my collection.
It would be much later after ''Blizzard of Oz'' before I would buy the Ozzy era Sabbath.
Anyone know why the song ''Turn Up The Night'' is missing from so many live shows? |

The best album by Sabbath? I think probably yes - this is so much better than Live Evil and I think Ronnie is vocally much stronger on here.
Its very well recorded and I think shows a band on top of its game.
I have the limited edition version and it was the only CD I played for 2 months when I got my copy! Its a great album. _________________ Stand up and Shout!!!!! |
