Still Devistated

We lost the nicest guy in metal and in all of music on May 16, 2010. I'm still in shock and disbelief over Dio's death and I am in deep regret because I never sent him a card or letter but I always kept him in my prayers. I wanted to tell him that I had earned my Bachelor's Degree in history and that he motivated me from the very beginning. His music was a major inspiration for me to do better. I can remember nearly dropping out of school when I was 17 but somehow I changed my mind when I heard Sacred Heart. He is one of my heroes and he will always be my favorite singer. I had the privilege of seeing him five times live. I've teared up several times just from reading testimonials from various musicians. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and I raised the horns up in tribute to him at my graduation ceremony.
