I was really sad to hear of your passing, wasn't quite expecting it. From all the updates it sounded like you were doing really well. I am able to listen to your music now without being totally bummed. Still doesn’t sound the same that you’re gone though.
Even though I wasn’t really into Magica, I was still looking forward to its future installments. From the sound of Elektra, I knew the album was going to be good. Sadly though, I’m unaware if you have recorded anymore of it for us to hear. If so, I would like for some of it to be released one day, so we all could hear what it would have sounded like. I was also looking forward to your autobiography too.
It never mattered how old you got or what band you were in, you were always rock’n and singing your heart out to your fans. I’ll always admire that.
Dio, you were, and will always, a huge influence. I’ll continue to listen to your music and get inspired to write more meaningful lyrics. So much of my material comes from the vibe of your songs.
Farewell Ronnie James Dio.
The magic we felt was worth a lifetime.
