Ronnie, you were the greatest of them all, you've been around longer than them all, you played in the greatest bands of them all, you made the greatest music of them all, you had the greatest voice of them all, you were the kindest of them all, you were the brightest of them all, you have the greatest fans of them all, and you loved them all.

We are sad you are not with us anymore, we will miss seeing you on tours, hear news from your tours, waiting for freshly taped clips on youtube from your tours, waiting for months for new album releases...

But we will also be happy and thankful for everything you have given us, we will keep enjoying your music for the rest of our lives.

So yes, I will be sad, and mourn this great loss, but I will refuse letting your death become a bad thing... because I'm sure you don't want us living our lives in sadness, I'm sure you want us to rise up from this loss and keep rocking to yours, and others, music ...

After all, what would it have been like without you??? No Rainbow, no Heaven and Hell, no Holy Diver, no Stars... That is an alternative I really would not have wanted to experience... But because of you, we don't have to....


Rest In Peace Ronnie, and don't worry about us, because of what you have done for us we will do ok....
