Pat, while they have talked about releasing it officially, I don't think that they have done so yet. Hopefully sometime soon we'll hear something more! |

I also want to know where we can get it.
This show was the first live in Japan of DIO.
Japanese fans have been waiting for long time, so this live is so impressive to us.
This was outdoor site specially prepared for this event.
And maybe on previous day it rained badly, so ground condition was quite bad(everybody tells about this).
Audience couldn't move easily, and it was so hot there.
I heard that Ronnie has just been on an operation on appendicitis right before coming to Japan(1985.8.10). Is it correct?
And a seam by surgery has broken after the show.
Something white can be seen from his waist under his costume sometimes, and I heard that it was a bandage.
(I thought it was his underware...)
But I also heard that Ronnie had an operaion on 1987 in Japan when he came to Japan for Japan Aid event.
I would like to know which is correct.
Does anyone knows about this ??
Anyway please loot at "something white" which can be seen under Ronnie's costume.

I have this on DVD but to be honest I find it a little overdone in parts, Viv`s playing was very frantic. I much prefer The Special From The Spectrum featuring this the original line up. PowerKnight

I found that releasing date should be Feb.22,2011 on Facebook.
This was posted on last Sunday.
"Super Rock Japan 1985" will be released on 2/15/11 on DVD, CD and a Deluxe Fan Pack with the DVD and CD! The show was only ever released in Japan on VHS!
You cannot find out this in Amazon nor elsewhere.

i just brought this dvd from Amazon co.uk for only £4.93p
i will give it a watch over the weekend folks, i know it was taken from the time of the Sacred Heart Era, but without the stage show with denzil the dragon / just Amp speakers, only seen bits of it on youtube folks, looks great .

- watched this dvd folks & its well worth the money , a great show for just the price of £4.93p , i say just treat yourself & get it if your a true Dio fan / you wont regret it folks . |

I want to ask if this has been officially released yet. I suspect it hasn't as the official Ronnie site does not mention anything about it.
But I don't have Facebook and so I was wondering, whether there hasn't been any new info posted there.
