The idea behind this topic is to revisit some classic cds from the past. The best post will get to choose the next cd we should revisit .
I will pick the winner when I feel we have said enough about the cd.This topic will only work if you are listening to it now and not trying to remember it from memory Wink Go and get it out and play it and even if you don't have the cd.You can find the songs on Youtube so there is no excuse for not adding your opinions to this cd..First cd I think we should revist is
Women and Children First-Van Halen
Some information on the cd.
Track Listings
1. Cradle Will Rock
2. Everybody Wants Some
3. Fools
4. Romeo Delight
5. Tora Tora
6. Loss Of Control
7. Take Your Whiskey Home
8. Could This Be Magic
9. In A Simply Rhyme
Women and Children First is the third album by American heavy metal/hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1980. It continues the trends laid out on the first two albums, relying on the vocals of David Lee Roth and the guitar playing of Eddie Van Halen. This album marks the 1st Van Halen album to not feature any cover songs.

I always seem to play this Van Halen cd more than any other, the production is perfection and checkout the bass guitar sound in this cd, total respect to Michael Anthony!
I can't even pick a favourite song becoz every single song is a classic but I lean a little towards to ''Fools''...Wow!This song will get you speeding tickets for sure.I also love the smutty lyrics in ''Everybody Wants Some'' Cool
I remember reading reviews back in the 80s about this cd, a lot of reviewers hated it for some reason, words like rush job and experimentation gone wrong Confused
30 years on and this cd is still fresh and not dated.

I don't have much to add, you covered it really good. I agree, it is a fantastic album!!
Back in the mid 80's, when I went throught my big V.H phaze, V.H 1, Diver Down, and W.A.C.F were 3 albums I couldn't get enough of.

Now you put me in a V.H mood......
NP...V.H: Drop Dead Legs
