Well, Geisha, this topic is always here if you decide to share! But certainly we won't be upset if you don't.
Anyway, in keeping with the "Dio is in My Kitchen" theme, let me just say I still use my Dio and H&H coffee mugs every day.
Also, I recently began teaching guitar through a studio owned by my former guitar instructor, and we are working on getting videos of us on the studio website. For one of mine, I arranged a medley of riffs from H&H songs...it turned out pretty awesome. I played it for my parents (in the kitchen!) and was well pleased when my mom could name at least three of the songs in the medley! Hahaha...they thought they'd never be fans. _________________ "You'll never make me be like you. I'm Master of the Moon!" |

A classic "Dio Moment" with my niece. She's 7. She's really into Big Time Rush. Whatever.
Last year, we're watching TV. I flip it over to VH-1 Classic, and the autism PSA is on. She's always asking me to pick out "a boy to love" on one of her kid shows. I say "Hey! Watch this! One of the boys I love is going to be on this!" I point Dio out to her "There he is! There he is! Isn't he cute?"
My niece rolls her eyes and says to me "He's 99 years old!" I said "Yeah, but he's really cute!" She just says "I guess...WHATEVER!!!"
It really is one of those "you had to be there" things. |
