I was unable to find a picture... I thought everyone remembered the boots. Watch the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoA3Fr3Zgh4
The first time I saw Ronnie live, a couple of things stood out: this guy can fucking sing! and this guy is wearing some funky boots.
Im not making fun of them, we all made some bad choices in the 80's (family pictures confirm , yes .. I had a mullet).
Could of been worse most bands dressed like women. |

I wouldnt say Ronnie's choice in boots was a bad one, looking back at that time period a lot of the fashions seem a little silly, however it was the fashion of the time. If Ronnie was walking around today in those boots then I would question his judgement but for the time period they would have been perfectly normal.
Boots are making a comeback also. I was in the mall with the wife a couple of weeks ago, and saw some boots that reminded me of the good ole 80s. So dont be surprised if we start seeing over the top fashion again real soon

I watched that video and I must admit, it was not the boots that most disturbed me. I think they were really just a sign of the times. But perhaps you could explain the artistic genius behind that video? Because it is apparently far beyond my understanding.
Anyway, I'm also going to continue the list here:
14. Dio fans should celebrate the band members' birthdays.
