I just got back to Cali last night & getting ready to head to San Francisco tonight for the show. After the show tonight driving straight to LA for the show tomorrow. I uploaded my photos from the Seattle show.
It was awesome to see them again & the band was in great spirits.
Got to get ready...just wanted to share my photos.
Stay Strong,
Dion

Glad you had a great time in Seattle. Was the arena filled to capacity? I am hearing on other forums that most concert halls are half filled. I think the economy it really hurting the concert industry. There seems to be only a few bands that are selling out and you can count them on one hand. Thanks for sharing photos. _________________ If you wish hard enough you might be surprised what awaits you at the end of the rainbow! |

I thought I heard the Seattle show was sold out...it was a big venue & it did look packed. I just got back today from the LA show. The Greek Theater was a nice venue & looked packed to me. The SF show surprising didn't look sold out. I think Judas Priest just played here in California the week before. I saw the Judas Priest/Whitesnake July 31, Aug 1 & 5 shows...It's definitely the price of tickets & the economy. I am beat & I try to go through & upload my SF & LA photos soon.
Every night Ronnie was taking care & spending time with the fans. 3 to 4 hours after the show! I can't say enough about him.
Long Live Ronnie James DIO!

HEAVY metal fans are defying the credit crunch by cranking up spending on their heroes’ CDs, T-shirts and show tickets.
Latest figures from music industry body the BPI show rock is now the best-selling type of music in single and album formats.
Last year, more than a third (35.7%) of CDs sold in the UK was by a rock band, with pop, R&B, dance and hip hop well behind.
Metal music has been boosted by the popularity of video games Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
And a raft of legendary bands have been tempted back on the road, including Whitesnake, AC/DC and Heaven and Hell.
A music biz insider said: “The steel industry may be struggling but there’s still money in heavy metal.
"Great heavy rock won’t get credit crunched!” |
Not sure how things are in the USA but this is not my first recession and its never stopped me from buying a cd or a concert ticket.Becoz of the way things are, people are spending more on entertainment in the UK.
